These are my designed characters from the play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," by William Shakespeare. As I sketched initial costume design ideas in charcoal, I listened to Felix Mendelssohn's incidental music to "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for inspiration, and to explore designing to music for a moving body.
