2025 - The Chess Case

This Louis Vuitton luggage bag was inspired by chess and travel. I took direct inspiration from a chess board I designed and made by hand, then created a home to display and travel with the chess pieces safely and beautifully. The checkered pattern of iconic Louis Vuitton luggage and its tradition of craftsmanship strongly influenced the design and construction.

Every part was built by my own hands, hand painted, and assembled with care. The creative process was rooted in playfulness and curiosity, allowing function and imagination to guide the form. My objective was to create something beautiful and meaningful, an object meant to be cherished, honored, and passed down from one generation to the next.
