“People think I wear sunglasses just to look cool. But as a nocturnal person, I never leave the house without these shades on. The sun is just too bright.”

Divulging her time to stay perched on the Brooklyn Bridge at twilight, Jaleen often loses track of time. She spends precious hours dancing and twirling about in the rain, wishing for the clouds to never clear up.

Feathers are created from painted plastic cups. This project tested my patience. I was inspired by city pigeons and night owls… such fascinating creatures!
