Merell has always known that she was meant to be a performer. Not just any performer, but the best ballerina of all Ocellus. After many tryouts to perform at the Palace, Merell was downtrodden.

One rainy day, she went swimming at the community pool, and caught a parasite that latched onto her head. The parasite has granted her prolific ballerina skills, but is slowly eating away at her brain and consciousness. When does Merell decide to rid of the life sucking parasite from the top of her head for the sake of her talents?
