This luggage bag was inspired by chess and travel. I took direct inspiration from a chess board I designed and made by hand, then created a home to display and travel with the chess pieces safely and beautifully. The checkered pattern of iconic Louis Vuitton luggage and its tradition of craftsmanship strongly influenced the design and construction.
